I remain glad and fortunate to have met Lee and to have worked under him at the Journal of Infectious Diseases. I really admired Lee and have fond memories of him and his dry sometimes biting sense of humor.

Condolences from Leland's Dartmouth Class of 1967. I'm Jim Rooks, editor of the class newsletter. We just learned of Leland's passing. Can someone get in touch with me at rooksy1945@gmail.com so we can write an appropriate newsletter notice? Thanks.

My condolences, Carol. Lee was, in my book, a special guy - funny, interesting, serious, and always an interesting take on whatever we may have been discussing. I'm thankful I had the chance to meet and work with him. My best to you and your family. Rick Tudor
