My thoughts to the entire Ortolano family. I know for me I think back to growing up with Mike and a smile sure comes to my face. Reading through the guest book it would seem he left many people with that same feeling. It was a pleasure Mike -

To the Ortolano family,I'm sorry for your loss.I had not seen Mike in over 15 years.Ran into himwhile working in Boston. At the time my son had cancer and Mike gave me some encouraging words.I wish I could have returned those words to him.My loss. There are many fond memories of "Ort".One that I'll share is one that my mother reminded me of when she heard the news. It's when he would deliver his Christmas cards in person.A unique and personal touch.Only Mike could come by unannounced and be welcomed.God Bless.

To the entire Ortolano family,
My deepest sympathy in the loss of Michael.
He always stood out as a kid with his unstoppable energy. It seems he was able to put that to good use. Too bad it wasn't for a much longer time.
You are all in my prayers.

Dearest Michael,
I'm reminded of our last conversation and how wonderful it was to speak to you. You exemplify kindness and grace and good humor in any circumstances. Thanks for protecting me from GB that night. We shared many laughs over that one. I look forward to being rejoined with you when I get to that border. Until that time, know you are, and you were, deeply loved by many...and especially by me.

Forever, My Love,

Marthe
