My holiday card to Rick was just returned : (
My father, Lance was friends with Rick through the Citroen community such that i grew up with Rick as a fairly regular person in my formative years. He always treated me as a person with valuable thoughts and ideas despite being 30 years his junior... I last saw him a couple years ago - we met for health food in Cambridge. I don't know the status of his body, but his spirit was undaunted. I will always remember him as a dedicated marathoner and kind soul.

Karen - I was so sad to learn of Rich's passing.
Friends since roommates 50 years ago at Cornell, I remember long conversations, shared hopes and dreams, listening to Paul Harvey and singing to the radio. I remember a few road trips in his brothers car and many shared laughs. But I will always remember his love for a certain ICcoed - he was head over heels.
I hope you will find some comfort in the years you two had with a loving family. Enjoy the wonderful memories!
I will miss him. Rest In Peace my friend.

Rick Levy, a kind fellow always made himself available with his technical expertise, with his broadcasting experience, with his life artistry. At WERS 88.9 Emerson College Radio in Boston, his warm welcome made visiting the radio station a memorable experience. His beautifully cared for Citroën was also symbol of his radio engineering creativity.

Rick was a friend to all, a brilliant engineer, avid photographer and jogger, passionate astronomer, and a true gentleman. We will all miss his friendship, insight, and love for a good/bad pun.

I worked with Rick as a fellow undergraduate on the engineering stall of the student-operated radio station WHRB (FM), Cambridge, Massachusetts.. Then, folllowing our respective graduations, we worked together in filing successful applications with the Federal Communications Commission. Rick persistently pursued his ideas for improving the station's transmitting facilities, which never would have come about without his original concepts and his persistence. I last saw him at the station's 75th anniversary celebration. I held him in high regard for his competence and originality as an engineer but also as a collaborator and friend.
