I'll always remember Bob as a caring, thoughtful father of my Nobles and Trinity classmate Rob, jr. His absolute delight at my showing him the basics of playing the musical saw at a '68 class reunion will be a happy memory for me forever, and I'm lucky to have been able to grow up in the school community he nurtured so well.

It is my joy tp know Patsy through the GI program at the MFA, where she lights up a room. I just knew that her husband would be a very special gentleman and after reading this, I see I was right. My sympathies on your loss.

"MR LAWRENCE"; later "Bobby", was an extremely positive influence in my life as a young businessman. ---and we shared the same alma mater Noble and Greenough school , where we often ran into each other on game and large alumni reunion days. i might have seen him "concerned" about the stock market, but otherwise, he was always cheerful, upbeat and positive in a truly gentlemanly way. He was a great friend and advisor to my uncle, bill saltonstall, and many members of our extended family. i feel very very fortunate to have known him and send condolences to patsy and the family. dick byrd

Bob seemed to almost always be smiling...even when the wind blew from the wrong direction...A great guy, friend and a loss to many...
Our condolences and best wishes to all the Lawrences...
