I met Ron when he was in Pittsburgh in the mid-eighties, and we kept in touch. He was a sweetheart. He had his eccentricities, but was able to make practical choices nonetheless. My condolences to his family.

You told me that God had given me unmeasurable gifts that I haven't even begun to tap into. When I thought I lost all faith you taught me it's been there all along. When I thought I was stupid and had no self esteem whatsoever you stressed the capacity of honesty and faith being the most important thing a man can have. Most of all my dear friend you made me laugh when I needed it most .One of those unmerited gifts I did tap into is having you in my life and all the wonderful times we shared .
Love you always
