Thomas Crumlish Obituary

CRUMLISH, Thomas Edward 73, of Cambridge, MA and Marshfield, MA passed away in Cambridge on Wednesday, July 28th, 2010. Thomas, best known for his kindness to others and his loving demeanor, was born in Wilmington, Delaware on December 14th, 1936. Thomas was a considerate, genuine, compassionate man who will be missed more than mere words can express...Thomas was a dedicated and loving husband to Donna Lee Kennedy of Cambridge MA, and caring father to his three sons: Dean Edward Crumlish of Canton MA; Jon Stephen Crumlish of Chicago IL, and Brian James Crumlish of Chicago IL. Born into a family of nine children, he is survived by his siblings: Patricia Trepper, James Allen Crumlish, Betty Gene Mercer, Anne McMann, Frederick Donovan Crumlish, Robert Jerome Crumlish, and Lawrence Eugene Crumlish. His five grandchildren: Alexander Edward, Samantha Grace, Cecelia Rose, Babette Carmalina Nicola, and Ben Waylon Crumlish; his former spouse Lelani Crumlish of Palm Beach Gardens FL; Jon's wife Christina Crumlish, Brian's wife Maria Crumlish and Dean's fiancée Shea Flanagan. Thomas is predeceased by his mother and father, Elizabeth Gibney and Marion Eugene Crumlish, and brother David. Served honorably in the US Army, stationed in Germany. Thomas was a highly detail-oriented civil engineer involved in numerous projects throughout the world and most recently participated in the reconstruction of the Southeast Expressway in Boston MA. Wake Sunday August 1 from 4-7pm at Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, MA and Funeral Mass at St. Peter's, 100 Concord Ave, Cambridge, MA will be at 9am Monday, August 2nd.
