V. MICHAEL WEINMAYR

WEINMAYR, V. Michael Age 74, of Somerville and Lexington, died on December 17, 2012 after a lengthy struggle with Parkinson's Disease. He was the principal of Weinmayr Associates Landscape Architects, was honored as a Fellow of the ASLA, and was a co-author of "Frederick Law Olmsted, Sr: Founder of Landscape Architecture in America". He enjoyed working with his hands, especially rebuilding bicycles and old cars. He is survived by his wife Joan, son Michael Olmsted, daughter Annie Clark, grandson Timothy, and sisters Marie Howell and Fran Zaloski. There will be a small private memorial gathering.
