To the Snelgrove Family,
Let Our Lord and your beautiful daughter gently guide you through this unbelievable journey called grief. I am a mother on this journey myself and without the spirit of my handsome son and the
Grace of God I would be gone myself. Let her show you in ways that only you will recognize that she is gloriously happy and will be waiting with open arms when you will all be reunited again. Don't ever doubt her presence when you are missing her the most. God be with you.

Dear Snelgroves,
I have been praying for your entire family since hearing about the tragic loss of Victoria last week. I can't imagine what you're going through at this time. I can only say that experiencing the traumatic loss of my 21 yr old brother, Dan on Oct. 20, 2001 was the worst day of my life. He would have been 22 on Nov. 1st that year. It takes so much time...even today, I'm still trying to cope with his loss & absence from my family's life. Do everything at your own pace, don't let anyone tell you how or how long to mourn...in time, you will smile again at the thoughts & memories of your gorgeous daughter, Torie. God Bless you all, I'm so very sorry.
Your friend,
The Bootier Family

If tears could build a stairway
and memories were a lane
we would walk right up to heaven
and bring you back agian
no fairwell words were spoken
no time to say goodbye
you were gone before we knew it
and only god knows why
our hearts still ache in sadness
and secret tears still flow
what it meant to lose you
noone can ever know
but now you know you want us
to mourn for you no more
to remember all the happy times
life still has much in store
since you will never be forgotten
we pledge to you today
a hollow place within our hearts
is where you will always stay!

I don't really know what to say except that I am very sorry about the loss of Torie. I wish I could comfort you and say things will get better but it is hard to see that. One thing I do know is that after my grandfather had passed away, I had always wanted to tell him I loved him one more time. I found this book entitled "Talk to God, I'll get the message" It was about a boy whose grandfather was ill. The grandfather told the boy that when he wanted to talk to him, to tell God and God would tell the grandfather what the little boy said. I have done that numerous times when I have missed my grandfather and it keeps me bonded. It is not the same as having him here and never will be but I do get to tell him I love him. Please talk to God to tell Torie you love her. I am sure that she will get the message. You are in my heart and I will always pray for you.
