SELLERS, William Lawrence "Bill" Of Bedford, MA. passed away after a long and brave battle with cancer on March 5th, 2021. Bill was born in 1943 and raised in Somerville, MA. The beloved husband of Joyce Sellers, the love of his life, and devoted father and grandparent. Surviving in addition to his wife, Joyce, are his son, William M. Sellers of Hingham, MA; daughter, Lisa D. Sellers of Norwood, MA; stepsons, Brian K. Thompson of Wayland, MA and Brad Thompson of Reading, MA; and stepdaughters, Amy L. Sahagian of Sammamish, WA, and Wendy Ford of Greenwich, NY; one sister, Barbara Sousa of N. Tewksbury, MA, one brother, Robert (Bobby) Sellers of Boston, MA; 16 wonderful grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Bill attended and graduated from Matignon High School in Cambridge, MA, and then attended and graduated with honors from Boston College. Bill's first wife, Carolyn Wocell Sellers, the mother of their two children, who passed away in 1996, will also be remembered as a significant part of Bill's life. Bill then remarried in 1983 to Joyce Record Thompson, and they resided in Winchester, MA. for thirty-three years. Bill was an avid collector of old radio shows; he wrote many beautiful poems, some of which were published in local newspapers. Bill also invented a trivia game that played off of word assimilations. Bill will be best remembered for all of his generosity and kindness. He was a 20-year contributor to orphanages and medical research. He volunteered his time to multiple church functions with enthusiasm and dedication for more than two decades. Visiting Hours: Although we cannot gather together with Bill's family at this time, friends may still look forward to a celebration of his life with a date to be shared shortly post-pandemic.

Bill was a wonderful man. I knew him for several years, and despite his serious health challenges, he was a positive and kind soul. He will be greatly missed by me.
