Of Cambridge Feb. 4, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Josephine (Santagate). Devoted father of Eva Zayas, Roseanne Avakian, Margaret Chin and her husband Willie, Patricia Avakian, Joseph Avakian, Scott Avakian, Annemarie Caterina and her husband Thomas and the late John Avakian Jr. Also survived by 8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Loving brother of Arthur Avakian and the late Anthony and Ara Avakian. Funeral services at Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 145 Brattle St., Cambridge on Monday February 11 at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, WATERTOWN on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers Memorial gifts may be made to the above named Church. Interment at Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.
