You were the first name I saw when I visited the 9/11 site today with my husband. Your name caught my eye as we share the same Christian name. I found your photo on the memory walk and I have been thinking of you today and your dear family. Sending lots of love from Sonia Rigby of Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK, 3rd October 2018 xx

Our Heavenly Father is with you. You have faith in Jesus.
And this is his message for Sonia.
I am the ressurection and the life, the one who exercises faith in me,even though she dies, will come to life.
(John11:25)
And Sonia indeed exercised faith in Jesus.

I think of all of Sonia's friends and family today, and lift up a prayer for you to be blessed in a mighty way. This world needs to embrace her vision and do what we can to help end the violence that seems to be growing exponentially. We will never forget. Much love from Texas,

To The Family & Friends of Sonia,

I am so sorry for the loss of such a special person in your life!

When these tragedies happen, we often ask ourselves, why bad things happen to good people?

You can find comfort in knowing that pain & sorrow were never Gods original purpose for families.

He will soon keep His promise and restore peace & unity to all mankind.

He will not forget Our Dear Loved Ones!

Psalms 37:10 & 11
Isaiah 45:18

Sending Warm Greetings,

Dear Sister Sonia:
On this tenth aniverary, my children, grandchildren and I came together to remember you and pray for you. We will never forget you and will always remember your fighting spirit. You lived a wonderful life helping others and good causes to make the world a little better. In your lifetime, you made many trips around this world. On September 11, 2001, GOD made the divine decision to call you to be with our Mami in the Heavenly World of GOD.

Whoever said you could not have the best of both worlds did not know you, my sister! On September 11, 2001, GOD called you home because He needed you as well as all those other HEROES who died on that day to remind Americans that united we stand as one nation under GOD with Liberty and Justice for all.

GOD knows how much I love and I will "always remember you" with the happy memories you left with us.

Te quiere mucho tú hermano quién nunca te olvidara. May GOD bless you and the United States of America

On the morning of 11 September 2001, my wife Sigi and I were waking up. the television was busy showing the first images of the world trade center moments after flight 11 crashed. We both were astonished that a plane crashed into the building. When the second plane struck I looked at Sigi and said "My God, we're being attacked. I tried to call family and the lines were jammed. When I fanally got through to my grandmother she was crying. My cousin, her niece, Sonia Morales Puopolo, who was very close to us all, was killed when AA-11 crashed into the WTC. She was seated in first class just two rows from Mohammed Atta.

Even after ten years it is very difficult to hold back tearful emotions of that day. Our family lives with the emptiness that stands within our very hearts and the sorrow that has been brought upon us. Yet on Sunday 11 September, we all all stand our day of rememberance along side three thousand other families who suffered the loss of a loved one.

We all must remember our lost loved ones and our fallen sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers who put on the uniform and stepped into harm's way voluntarily and gave their lives to protect us especially in the aftermath of that very day.

It is unfathomable to have realized that human beings can capable of such carnage and destruction. Yet the imiges of that day are forever burned into the memories of all of us and generations to come. This day changed the way we do things forever. But one thing we all should do is to pray to whomever we call God that someday we can all put aside our differences and live together on this fragile planet we call home.

Dominic, you were a passenger on my flight today, ATL-BOS. Thank you so much for sharing your stories, thoughts and memories of your mother. She lives on forever in the hearts of those who knew her, and those like me who wish we had known her. Every time I get on a 767 I am reminded again of the innocent victims of 9/11. To the family and friends of Sonia: For some reason I wanted to view all the 9/11 victims that crashed into our beloved Andrew J. Bailey's tower. I was compelled by Sonia's tribute because she is Puerto Rican like me. I'am so sorry for your loss and we are all in this together. I think about Andrew and all the other victims every day. My heart is still painful but that pain will never go away. You are in my prayers. God bless you.

I'm very sorry for you loss. I lost my father in an ironic accident almost 4yrs ago, but can't imagine what you felt due to this selfish act of terrorism. I know my father is watching down on me and my new family, and your mother is doing the same. Whenever you find yourself down and out "talk to her", she's listening. My prayers to ALL. We are very sorry for your great loss of Sonia. May her life and love live on in all who love her. May the sorrow in your hearts be lightened by precious memories of times together. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I Prayed For You Today:

I know it seems you're all alone
No one to really care
With such a heavy burden
That you alone must bear.
I may not know just what to say
Nor exactly what to do
But may you be assured to know
I'm praying just for you.
So even though it seems that many storm clouds fill your day,
I know the Lord has heard our prayer, and help is on the way.

1 John 2:17-" So if we truly want to live in God's new world, we must first learn God's will and then do it. For it is a fact: This 'world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever,' to enjoy eternally the blessings to be showered down by our loving Creator."
