WILLIAMSON, James W. "Jamie" IV Of Hingham, formerly of Whatley, MA, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Massachusetts General Hospital from injuries sustained in the boom lift accident in Boston. He was 51. He is survived by his wife Michelle Williamson-Green of Hingham. Loving father of Jessica, Julianna and Emily Williamson-Green of Hingham and James M. Williamson of Feeding Hills, MA. Son of Sharon Williamson of Springfield, MA and the late James W. Williamson III, of Darnstown, MD. Brother of Belinda Pioggia of Longmeadow, and Beth Moriarty of East Longmeadow. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Jamie worked as a Technical Services Supervisor for Tremco, Inc. Jamie was an avid hiker, a love he shared with his wife Michelle, as well as his best friend and hiking partner Mark Dewar of Scituate, MA. Mark and Jamie could be found most weekends hiking the Blue Hills in their kilts. Jamie was also an amateur blacksmith and a knife collector. A member of the Old Ship Church in Hingham, he was a former youth group advisor and co-chair of the Building Committee. Jamie was a loving and caring man, committed to his family, his friends and his community. He will be missed tremendously. Visiting hours will be held at the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St.,WHITMAN, on Wednesday 5-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 1 pm at the Old Ship Church, 90 Main St., Hingham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private.
