Judith was a former student of mine at the Museum School.
I would visit her occasionally during first First Fridays. I will always remember having worked with her, and am very sad to here of her passing.

I always looked forward to the beautiful cards with a recent painting of Judy's announcing open studies. She was not only a wonderful artist but a gracious host and always welcoming.I know she will be greatly missed by family and friends.

I knew Judith for her generosity of time, support of community projects and her immense talent. We also share the friendship of our sons and I will always remember her as a gentle and thoughtful person.

We knew her mostly for her for her beautiful paintings. We just recently saw her last summer when we were invited to visit her at her home with other painters that are long time friends. She was a gracious host, kind friend and gifted artist. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family.

I only met Judith once, briefly, during an open studio years ago. But her friendliness and the advice she gave to me, an aspiring artist, helped me so much. I know I would not be where I am today if it were not for her encouraging words.

It wasn't that I saw Judy all the time, but just knowing that I could stop in at her studio for a burst of knowledge, clarity and wit carried me through many a working day over the last ten years. She was refinement and she was wisdom and she was sunshine. And terribly missed.

We have nothing but wonderful memories of Judy, going back to PTA days at Hamilton School and political campaigns in the 1970s. Our hearts are heavy but we rejoice that we knew Judy for all these years.
