Sue, John, Conor, Garrett and your entire extended family - we are so so very sorry about Brendan's passing. Brendan was often over at our house when Taylor and Brendan were in high school and college. He considered Brendan one of his closest friends. And our daughter Kelsey loved hanging out with Brendan. He was such a loving, kind person. I know he will be missed by his friends, and he had many many friends. All of us McCarthys think of you all often and wish you the strength you need during this very difficult time.

Dearest John, Sue, Connor and Garrett:
Our hearts ache so much for you right now. Brendan was always like a son to us. He would raid our refrigerator, kick the soccer ball around the yard with Kyle, and nap in our hammock with his cap over his face. I'm crying as I write this because those are the memories of Brendan that I will keep close to my heart forever. He was a great athlete, and a fine young man.
May he rest in peace...we will all cherish the memories.
