HOWES, Dorothy (Nakashian) Of Wayland, formerly of Belmont, passed away at home peacefully on April 13, 2016, with her sister, Rose by her side. Born in Wellesley to the late Jacob Nakashian and Sima Alajajian Nakashian. Loving sister to Rose Nakashian Kerrigan of Lexington, and the late John Nakashian of Hooksett, NH. Beloved aunt of Dr. David Kerrigan and his wife Becky of Salisbury, MD, and Charlotte Kerrigan Janigian and her husband, Renie, of Sudbury. Adoring great aunt of Charlie and Timmy Kerrigan of Salisbury, MD, and Lillian and Alina Janigian of Sudbury. A graduate of the Museum of Fine Arts School, she was an award winning artist who exhibited her art throughout New England and New York City. A private burial service will take place in Manchester, NH. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will take place at the First Armenian Church at a later date.
