MURRAY, Maureen A. (Teahan) Of Quincy, died August 19, 2016. Maureen was born in County Kerry, Ireland, later a resident of Lawrence, Jamaica Plain and Quincy. Loving mother of William P. Murray and Mary Power, both of Quincy. Sister of Donal Teahan and John Teahan. Maureen is predeceased by her son Daniel Murray, her parents Timothy and Maryellen and her sisters; Joan, Helen, Josephine and Kathleen. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 5-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Donations may be made in memory of Maureen to: The Compassionate Friends, Inc., 1000 Jorie Blvd., Ste. 140, Oak Brook, IL 60523. See or call 1-800-Keohane for directions and online condolences.

Mrs. Murray, you must have been quite a person and wished I had known you. Thank you for letting your son, Will, read all those paperback reprints of the pulps when he was a lad. If it had not been for you there would have been less joy in the world. Harry Gray
