My husband and I only met you and your close family for a short time when we were involved in Marriage Encounter. We were so impressed with the love and closeness in all the children. Dear Paul, Joey and John
I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I remember fondly going to your house when John and I were in high school. Your mom was always so welcoming and there were a lot of us going in and out of her house. Such a close and loving family. That's what I remember. I hope you are all well. It's been too long, I know, but the friends we make when we're young always stay strong in our hearts no matter how much time has passed. Take good care of each other. Love to you all.

Joe and John.....your mom was a pistol! She dove in head-first at Camp Fatima Exceptional Citizens Week like she was a 20 year old! No holier-than-thou; no artifice; no I'm old and can't do that. She was a blast. What a gift for you to share her with the lord on Mother's Day. I can't think of a better day for her to join Him!

My family has so many fond memories of your sweet Mom. She was always so welcoming and kind. We pray that the sadness you and your families are feeling now will, in time, yield to happy memories of her life. We continue to occupy the home where you grew up. After 34 years, people still refer to it as the Unni house. If you're ever in town, the door is always open.

I was saddened to learn of Mom's passing especially on Mother's Day and on a day she would have joined us for the First Communion. She had a smile that lit up a room, was prayerful, and fun. She has left us with a way to live.
