GEORGE F. SENNOTT

SENNOTT, George F. Of Winthrop, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side after a long courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was 78 years old. Beloved soulmate of Judi Buono and her children Kim Rogers and her husband Steve and Jeff Buono and his wife Jen. Devoted father of George Sennott and his wife Cathleen and Patrick Sennott and his wife Lauren, all of Winthrop, Kathleen Wall and her husband Scott of Land O' Lakes, FL, Laureen Sustachek and her husband David of Wesley Chapel, FL and Eric Sennott and his wife Janine of Odessa, FL. George is also survived by the mother of his children, Rosemary Barquin of Land O' Lakes, FL. George was the adored grandfather of 21 grandchildren; the dear brother of John Sennott and his life partner Christine O'Brien of Winthrop; and survived by many nieces and nephews. Cherished son of the late George F. and Katherine (Langton) Sennott. A lifelong roofer, George was the proprietor of Sennott Roofing Company, employing countless Winthrop residents for over fifty years, although his greatest legacy will be the kindness, generosity and opportunities he showed all. He is held in the highest regard by all who were lucky enough to know him. George's Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Saturday, February 13 at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please go directly to church and follow the current social distance guidelines. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery.
