GALANTE, Lillian M. (Bono) Of Stoneham, formerly of Melrose & Medford, April 23, 2021. Beloved wife of 59 years to Ralph J. Galante. Loving mother of Andrea Vakos and her husband Mike of Stamford, CT, and Stephen Galante and his wife Wendy of Reading. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Vakos, Marianne Vakos and Michael Vakos, Jr., Derek Galante and Rachel Galante. Daughter of the late Charles & Anna (Gilardi) Bono. Dear sister of Jennie Butera of Stoneham, Vincent Bono of Lynnfield, Anthony, Michael and Louis Bono of Saugus, Joseph Bono of NY and the late Anna Federico, Josephine Conte, Marie Piscitello, Terry Bono, Paul Bono, and Charles Bono. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., MELROSE, on Tuesday, April 27th from 6:00-8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary's Church, 9 Herbert Street, Melrose on Wednesday, April 28th at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan Street in Melrose.
