Shane Allen Warner(1983 - 2014)

Shane Allen Warner, 31, of Manhattan passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. He was born Jan. 3, 1983 in Evanston, Wyo. to Kevin and Bobbie Jo (Warner) Harter.

Shane grew up in Montana, attending Belgrade Middle School and Bozeman High School before graduating from Upperman High School in Baxter, Tenn. He lived in Cookeville, Tenn., where he worked as a diesel mechanic until recently moving to Manhattan, Mont.

He loved the outdoors, particularly fishing, hunting, and target shooting with his guns. He also liked playing poker and sports, especially football and the Dallas Cowboys. Above all else, he loved his family.

Shane was preceded in death by his niece, Ashley Warner; aunts, Anita Woody and Rhonda Pedraza; cousin, Patrick Woody; grandpa, Chuck Harter; grandmother, Betty Harter; and great-grandmother, Dixie Johnson.

Survivors include his father, Kevin C. Harter; mother, Bobbie Jo Harter; sister, Sarah Dyer; and his fiancée, Tiffany Gaw.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m. at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Meadowview Cemetery.
