So very sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I worked with her for years in ITS prior to my retirement. She was a whirlwind of energy and always willing to face any challenge head on. I know there will be a big void in the department without her. Mary was honest and seldom pulled punches. You always knew where you stood with her. Just a quality person all around. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Mary recognized that my weakness was technology, but she didn't think any less of me for it. She was patient with me and always had that knack for making sure I got it. On occasion we would talk about family, kids, grandkids and share our family values. I respected Mary because her insight was invaluable on those subjects. I will miss her sense of humor which was second to none. RIP Mary.

Mary was a great friend. We worked together at Sarasota County Government for many years, often working on large projects together; we were really a great team! She was there to support me during difficult times, as she did for others. I will always remember her passionate nature and funny laugh! I’m so deeply sorry to hear of her passing and offer my deepest sympathies. She will be missed.

We want to say how very sad we are today to find out about Mary and to offer our condolences to her family. She has helped us with our business for a very long time and was always there for me especially when I was in a panic with my computer. She was one of the sweetest, understanding and knowledgeable person I know. She loved her family deeply. I know this because as we sat at my desk together, she would tell me story after story of all of you. Our thoughts and prayers go to you today and every day.

Mary and I taught CDD together for two years at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Mary was so patient with the children, always positive and was a good teacher for the students. She would bring her homemade snacks in which was always a big hit with the children. I enjoyed seeing her at Mass! We were friends and talked about our children and her big Italian Family. Rest in Peace Mary!

I didn't know Mary, but I'm also in IT and she was born a couple of months before me. She sounds like many of my friends, a wonderful member of our community, and her death is such a loss to our state. I felt the need to send my condolences because her passing feels so close to home and I can't imagine what her family is going through. Compassion and love to you all xx

“What would I like to say about Mary” ?
That she was an angel in our midst..a person who truly lived by God’s word..somebody who could never say..No.
I’m beyond stunned to hear of her passing ..and immediately think of a poem that consoled me when loved ones passed.
“Do not stand at my grave and weep..
I am not there, I do not sleep .
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush..
Of beautiful birds in graceful flight
I am the star shine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am I the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing ..So do not stand at my grave and cry,.I am not there.
I do not die.”
Until we meet again my darling friendthank you for all.

As a colleague Mary always impressed me by her energy and willingness to go to any length to see that issues were resolved and problems solved, no matter what. As a friend, she and I shared discussions about life, faith, and the importance of being there and serving others. Mare, I’ll miss you but will carry your spirit in my heart always.

Mary’s phrase, “I’m coming up there”, still sticks in my mind. That’s because she gave everything a personal touch. She wanted to make sure your IT customer experience was the best, but what it always said to me was that she cared beyond the work experience. That smile, her humor, and her beyond the job commitment was Mary. Things will always be different now without her but she will never be forgotten. My prayers are with her close knit family, the IT family and all of the peoples lives Mary touched, including mine.

Even though I hadn't seen Mary in the few years since I've retired, her loss leaves me shaken. I can't imagine the pain her family is feeling. We shared so much besides decades of IT coworking, both of us working mothers of four, yet Mary seemed to have boundless energy. Good friend, good mother, hard working, fun loving, good cook (except for that pumpkin pie crust 10 years ago at the Thanksgiving staff party); Mary leaves a big hole in all our hearts.

Still stunned by the sudden loss, Mary was full of life and energy! At work I had occasion to talk to Mary almost every day and she was always helpful, managed to make you smile, and was one of the most generous persons I have ever met. Her loss will be one felt far and wide and my well wishes and prayers go out to her family.

No words can express how much I will miss Mary. She was a dear friend and we had so much in common - "birds of a feather" we would say. She lived for her family and a harder working person couldn't be found. She had a heart of gold and would go out of her way to help anyone she could. She loved God and her animals as well. Michael, Molly, Mark, Max & Dave - my heart truly breaks for you.

She will be greatly missed.
