John Perseo - November 15, 1949 - May 27, 2017 passed peacefully into the arms of our loving Lord. John Perseo age 67 of Lakewood Ranch Florida; Beloved husband of Janet; son of Albert and Sarahmae Perseo; Brother of Joyce Dous (brother in law of Tommy); Beloved Uncle of Julieanne and Thomas (Dous); Beloved friend of many. John was a faithful member of Living Lord Lutheran Church, Lakewood Ranch, Florida. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, John relocated to Florida in the late seventies. John was a well-known local restauranteur and entrepreneur of varied business interests. He was an avid cook sharing his love and passion with his abundance of friends. John was a faithful follower and fan of Penn State football and other Philadelphia and Florida Sports teams. He had a deep love for his Country and his faith. John celebrated each day with his passion to live life to the fullest. John will be missed more than words can ever express. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Friends and family are welcome to celebrate John's life on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11:00 am; with visitation one-hour prior at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, Florida, 34232.
