Alice Jean White, 82, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away April 17th, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Larry White, of 63 years. Born July 27th, 1934 in Westville, Champaign County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Wallace Robert and Lois Stickley. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, "Mac" William McGuffey Beaman; a sister, Kathleen Sue Nichols; and a brother, Jack R Stickley. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family and Catholic faith were her greatest joys in life. She loved playing her piano and loved music. Alice began teaching Religious Education in 1965 in New York, and became the Director of Religious Education after studying Theology at Saint Leo University. In addition to her husband, survivors also include 3 children, Jaynie (John) Powers; Patrick (Ying) White; Kathleen White; 2 sisters, Gloria (Robert) Ward; Stella Kay (Willard) Rogan; 2 brothers, Omer Bud Stickley; Robert Wallace Stickley; grandchildren, Kyle and Justin Pratt, Graham, Audrey and Spencer White; Daniel Wichlin; Kelly and Katie Beaman; great-grandchildren, Korey Mefford, Zane and Keidin Pratt, Bailey, Isabella and Sophia Pratt, Chase White; Amaya Cummins; Leah Cohen; Layla Hunsicker and Bo Wichlin. The family will receive friends from 9-10 am, on Saturday April 22nd, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A funeral mass will follow the visitation at 10 am.
