88, passed away peacefully at her home on April 20, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born in Atchison Kansas, grew up in St. Louis, MO, and moved to Bradenton, FL, in 1957. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Marcelle and Eva (Miller) Wolters; James Ryan, her husband of 44 years; Russ Trout, her husband of 24 years; and her step-son, Bill Trout. She is survived by her son, Jim (Linda) Ryan of Ft. Worth, TX; and daughters, Janet (Dan) Rynbrandt of Bradenton, FL, and Susan (Greg) Sledd of Spring Hill, TN; step-daughters, Sandra (Louis) Wilson of New Orleans, LA, and Kathy (Fred) Pfirrmann of Glendale, OH; 20 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren. The family said, "Mom is remembered for being one of the greatest influences in our lives and a true matriarch of our family. We are overwhelmingly grateful for the Mom/Grandma/Friend that God gave us. While being brokenhearted for how much she will be missed, she made everyone's life better." A Celebration of her life and the life of Russ, her recently departed husband, will be 1:00 pm Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton,FL.
