I was a former student of his at Quincy High School. He was respected by the students as fair and honest and I have great memories of those years and of him. Sorry to hear of his loss.

We especially remember some of the National Principal conventions we attended together. Especially coming to mind is Dallas when Bert & Dick jogged at the Cotton Bowl.
