Dana Marie (Wyar) Kampmann
February 12th, 1966 – June 18th, 2017
Dana Marie (Wyar) Kampmann, 51, passed away from an extended illness. Sarasota, Longboat Key & Bradenton resident. Funeral Mass and Services will be Saturday, June 24th, 10:30 am, at St. Francis Cabrini Roman Catholic Church, 12001 69th Street East, Parrish, FL 34219.
Born in Bradenton, FL, Dana was the owner with her husband John, of MEA Engineers, Inc. and The Deck Docktors, Inc. A licensed Contractor and CPA, Dana most recently worked with Informa Systems as a Financial Controller. She was a loyal, loving wife and a devoted step-mom, aunt, daughter, sister, niece and cousin to her family, friends, and all whom she came in contact with.
Dana overcame adversity with a powerful reserve of strength and courage, enjoying each day and showing concern for others. She enjoyed fashion, traveling and tooling around in her bug convertible.
Dana is survived by her husband, John; step-daughters, Jenna & Molly Kampmann; father, Walter "Rusty" Wyar; nieces and nephews, Graham & Jordan Rousseau, Max & Sydney Lieberman and Jack & Ricky Kampmann; sisters, Patti Rousseau and Kim Wyar; aunts and uncles, in-laws, cousins, and friends she considered family, including her doctors, nurses and support staff. She was predeceased by her loving, sweet and devoted mother, Darla.
