John "Jack" M. Panttila, 69, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Weymouth, Mass., passed away suddenly on July 22, 2016. He was the son of the late Ludwig and Helen Panttila. Jack worked as a union ironworker and later enjoyed his retirement years in Bradenton, Fla. He is survived by two sons, Eric (Susan) Panttila of Norwell, Mass., and Jeffrey Panttila of Weymouth, Mass.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Herndon (Ken) of Bourne, Mass. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Thomas Panttila. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
