During her last years, she shared her home and her heart with two champion Shih Tzu, Gio and Gabby. Maureen will be deeply missed by Alexa Meyers who was often called Maureen's granddaughter, Jo Ann White and their mutual friends, her long-term friends, Pat George, Kate Duncan, and Susan Falbo, Maureen's former neighbors and many cousins in both Canada and the United States.
