95, of Bradenton, died February 19, 2017. She was born De-cember 26, 1921 in Belleville, Ontario Canada, daughter of Reginald and Estelle Geen. After becoming a registered nurse Phyllis moved to California, met her beloved George and married in June of 1950. They moved to Shreveport, LA where there un-ion was blessed with a son Chris. They eventually retired and moved to Scaly Mountain, NC where they lived until George passed away in 1994. Phyllis moved to Bradenton 20 years ago and resided at Freedom Village. She filled her days with many activities in-cluding being an honorary life member of Presbyterian Women, volunteering at Freedom Village, playing bridge, working crossword puzzles and reading books. Phyllis was known by all her friends as a quiet, sweet, happy, beautiful, fun loving and unassuming lady. She lived a long and fruitful life filled with joy and happiness.
