born on Nov. 21, 1930 passed away of bone cancer on March 7 2016. Mr. Kerr leaves behind his sons Scott R. Kerr and Russell E. Kerr, Susan D. Kerr daughter in law, and one of his daughters Cyndi S. Kerr, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 4 siblings and 4 siblings in law. Married for over 58 years; his wife Kathryn S. Kerr passed away in 2010. Russell was originally from Arlington Massachusetts, attended Worcester Academy, Colby College and graduated from North Easter University with a double major of History and Business. A Korean War Veteran, Russell attained the rank of Sergeant before being honorable discharged in 1955. Mr. Kerr was over the years not only a son, a brother, a husband and a father, he was a business man and owner, an artisan, a golfer, a consular, an okay card player and an awesome friend. He will be missed greatly. Memorial Service will be on April 18th at 10:30 am at the Sarasota National Cemetery on Clark Rd in Sarasota FL.
