Sally was a retired Certified Rehab Registered Nurse. She was also a Parish Nurse at Oneco United Methodist Church prior to her retirement. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, wife, & mother who made sure that her children all knew how to take care of themselves by teaching them to cook, clean, and do various hand crafts. She loved to knit, sew, crochet & cross stitch. She was quick to laugh and find the humor in nearly any situation. She is survived by her husband of 59.5 years, Lee Wallis; her four children: daughter Elaina Wallis of Bradenton, FL; son Paul Wallis and his wife Anna of Pace, FL; daughter Debbie Latham and her husband Jeff of Louisville, KY; and son Matt Wallis and his wife Billie of Bradenton, FL. She adored all of her fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 4pm, Saturday, July 21st at Trinity United Methodist Church (3200 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL, 34209), with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National or the Trinity United Methodist Church Missions Fund.
