Tracy Glen Wingate We lost Tracy after a five year battle with cancer. He fought with courage and never gave in to despair. He never lost his wonderful sense of humor. We will never forget his beautiful smile, his infectious laugh or his great wit. Tracy was born on April 7, 1958 and moved to Bradenton at the age of eight. Graduated from Southeast High School in nineteen seventy-six. He also earned a degree from (then) Manatee Community College and James Madison University in Virginia. Tracy had a wonderful thirty year career with The United States Coast Guard. He passed away on April 23, 2012 and will be interned at Sarasota National Cemetery with full honors. The service will be at the cemetery on May 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Also, on May 11, at 2:00 p.m. We will have a celebration of Tracy's Life at Hilton Longboat Key Beachfront Resort. Address for Hilton is 4711 Gulf of Mexico Drive. Would welcome friends and their stories. Tracy is survived by his loving wife Yvette, his parents, Harry and Yvonne, his brother, Marty and wife Suzie, his nephew Jarod and niece Tia. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice or Cancer Research.
