William Hugh McElhiney, 95, Bradenton, died July 16, 2009. Survived by wife, Teresa; sons, Lawrence (Judy) of Carmel, IN, Michael of PA, Joe, Ralph (Donna) all of Bradenton; grandchildren, Matthew and Whitney McElhiney; brother, James of Wyoming. Born June 13, 1914, in Bethany, MO, the son of a farmer, he lived in Illinois and moved to Bradenton in 1954. He was a Photographer, owner of Hughes Foundry, Pan American Service Company, first president of South Manatee Rotary, member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Conquistador in the Hernando Desoto Historical Society, volunteer for the Mental Health Association of Manatee County, Manatee County Sheriff?s Department and Safety Council. Memorial Service will be Friday, July 24, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
