I´ll never forget him or the sweet things my mom (his art teacher) said about him. He was a very special boy to her and many people! He´ll always be remembered and his love of Pokémon, art and his kind spirit to name a few. I hope his parents are doing well. I Think of them and pray they feel peace.

On this, the 10th anniversary of the day our beloved son, Max went to Heaven, I am still so touched and grateful beyond words for the outpouring of support shown on this website - even to this day. Max was an incredibly special angel to me - and always will be. It it heart-warming to believe he was special to so many others and that they still remember him fondly. For those of you who have shared what was in your heart about Max on this website, it shows how really special you are, too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your thoughts and prayers and please keep remembering Max. He lives on forever in our hearts.

I just want Max's parents to know I still think about him a lot and I'm sorry for what happened. We weren't close friends but we sat next to each other in class a couple times. I remember how he always snuck a bunch of plushies into his backpack. He was so sweet and always the smartest kid in class. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Max had their lives made a little richer.

I went to Stewart with Max and was in the same grade with him a couple of times. I can still see him bringing his Pikachu (and his many puffles!) to class. He was very sweet and beyond intelligent. Even though he isn't here anymore, he will still live on in the memory of those who knew and loved him.

I pass Max's tree everyday. I never met him but I think maybe he's keeping an eye on it. It's a bit thin but stronger than you could imagine. It blooms in the spring and survives the storms like nothing happened. It's a gentle reminder that on this journey on Earth we've got angels all around us. Sometimes I lose my faith but it's things like his tree that remind me I have a purpose in life, and that I am not alone.
Love and prayers to you all.

I know that this is a strange way to express my feelings. However, I feel that it is important to get them out and let it be known that Max has not been forgotten. As Halloween rapidly approaches, I occasionally think about Max, as his birthday is also my grandfather's. I still have good memories of our time in Cub Scouts together. I remember how proud and happy he was when he won first place as an astronaut during the Halloween party one year. He looked very sharp in the outfit. I also remember how much fun we had during the Pinewood Derbies and Raingutter Regattas. I believe he will have a wonderful birthday in Heaven. May his spirit always be with us. Amen.

Dear Karin and Patrick:
We are very sorry for the loss of Max. Both of you were such wonderful parents to Max and inspirations to all of us.
Tonight, instead of us comforting you, you were giving us kind words, encouragement and strength, which helped us appreciate the deeper and true meaning of family. You are truly kind and amazing.
Indeed, Max appeared very peaceful tonight during the viewing. He was a very special person and will live on in our hearts.
May the joy and wonderful memories the three of you shared help give you strength and comfort during this time of deep sorrow. You are in our prayers.

A few month ago, you brought your son to work while finishing your Saturday patient rounds at MMH. He was sitting at a desk in the dictation area, so earnestly reading that I did not want to interrupt. So I asked a nurse, "Who's that kid sitting back there?" She answered . "That's Dr. Grablin's son. He's so polite." One could tell that he was a vey sweet boy.

John and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Grablin family. We don't understand why GOD takes someone so young, I would like to think he needed another angel and that was Maxwell. You now have a Guardian Angel to watch over you always. I met Maxwell at WinShape Curch Camp and he told me the story of Pokeman, he was so smart, kind and polite. You should be proud parents because you raised an awesome son. It's hard not to be sad but when you think of Maxwell in Heaven with Jesus oh what joy he must feel. You will see him again one day. May GOD Bless you with comfort, peace and understanding.
