Kevin Shrader, 63, of Westminster, Vermont, passed away on Monday,

December 7, as a result of a workplace accident. He was the loving

husband of wife Beth M. (Schuster) Shrader and the owner of All

Seasons Tree Service, having been in the tree care industry for four

decades in both New Jersey and Vermont. Born in 1957 in Morristown,

NJ, he was the fourth child of Fred and Dorothy Shrader of East

Hanover, NJ. He is survived by sister-in-law Janette Schuster of

Walpole, NH, siblings Sandford Shrader and wife Maureen of East

Hanover, NJ, Nancy Ochs of Blairstown, NJ, and David Shrader and

wife Sharon of Amherst, Virginia, and five nieces and nephews. Kevin

grew up and attended the local schools in East Hanover, NJ, and moved

to Westminster in 2003.

Kevin's passions were his family and his Alaskan malamute sled dogs.

He was happiest when camping, fishing, and boating with his wife of 25

years and dog Avalanche. He was a hardworking, loyal, and generous

friend and a ten-year member of the Westminster Fire Department who

never refused to help a community member in need. A tree planting and

celebration of his life will take place in the spring. Kevin was on the

advisory board of the New England Chapter of the International Society

of Arboriculture, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that

donations be made to their high school scholarship fund (sent checks to:

New England Chapter of the ISA, PO Box 435, Norwell, MA 02061,

Attn: NEC-ISA high school scholarship fund).

Kevin was a great person, and a hard worker. He did excellent work at whatever he put his mind to and will be missed by all. So very sorry to hear of this, he was just working on a job where I am working in Wapole a few weeks ago.

Beth, It was truly my pleasure to work and to get to know you both while serving on the New England International Society of Arboriculture Board. Kevin was a dedicated member, unassuming and a person of few words but when he spoke it was always with a purpose. My deepest sympathies to you. Julie Coop

This is a very sad day for our industry. Kevin shared his knowledge and expertise to many many people in our industry and chapter. You could always count on him in many ways. He was a great servant to our industry and our local tree climbing competition. He will truly be missed. My condolences to you Beth and your family

Auntie Beth,
Words can not express how much I will miss my Uncle Kevin. He & I have spent so much time together since I was a baby. From roller skating, to time at the shore, to helping him move countless times and all his furry babies (especially the ones I loved the most, Sampson, Jasper and Ghost). He would run to my rescue when the pipes on my new house frozen after living there a whole week. To the most frozen dog sled race at High Point when it was well below zero. He was always my hero and I will love him forever!

Beth-

I saw you in my dream last night and I had no words. I just hugged you.

I feel like I knew Kevin better than I do based on how much you have talked about him (always with a smile). I loved the love between you both. I still recall his great laugh easily. It brought light into the room.

May you have all the love and support you need around you to hold your broken heart together.

So sorry to hear about Kevin. He was so kind, caring, thoughtful and helpful. My friends here in NJ have expressed the same sentiments upon hearing of this devastatingly sad news. He loved his Malamutes and sledding and had such a great team of well-trained dogs. Beth, my deepest condolences to you and your family.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of my cousin. We were close in age, were neighbors, and spent a lot of time together in our formative years. I will always remember his warm, kind, and calm demeanor and will miss him greatly. My sincerest condolences to Beth, to my other three cousins all extended family.

Beth and family, our sincerest condolences, you are in our thoughts and prayers, such a shocking loss. Kevin was the kindest and gentlest person I have ever met. It was an honor to have known him, to be his friend and to have worked with him on the New England ISA board. His passion for helping others and to educate students in the field of arboriculture was unsurpassed. He will be missed and his memory will always stay close in our hearts.
