Brownsville - Ernesto Castillo 64, Ernesto Castillo, 64, Devoted father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend entered into eternal rest on November 1, 2021 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Esteban and Virginia Paredes Castillo; sister Trinidad Castillo Hulings.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Fred (Daisy) Board; his beloved granddaughter, Riley Jane Board, and his brother German Castillo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, from 1 PM to 8 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 10 AM at San Pedro Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas. (956) 350-8485
