SSG Larry G. Heller, 75, (ret. USA) was born January 20, 1943 in Monroe County, PA. He passed away at home on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 6 p.m. in the loving arms of his wife.
Larry served in the United States Army for 22½ years as a military police officer. Following his retirement, he worked as a Department of Corrections officer for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Mona Lisa Heller; six brothers and sisters, Louise Kerrins (Jerry), Linda Tinko (Al), Lester Heller (Janet), Lois Berman (Jim), George Heller and Lorraine Dilley (Denny); daughter, Nanette Waiters (Anthony) of Mt. Bethel, PA; four stepchildren, Harvey Lashley of Fleming, Ricky Lashley of Richmond Hill, Debbie Reynolds (Rusty) of Richmond Hill and Steve Lashley of Richmond Hill; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, George Franklin Heller, and his mother, Lorraine Heller Rake.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at Richmond Hill Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service immediately following visitation at 11.
