Roger Dale Clark, Sr., 66, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, passed away on November 13, 2018, surrounded by family and friends.
He was born March 23, 1952 in Liberty County, Georgia. Roger grew up in a large loving family with 6 brothers and 3 sisters. He married Susan, the love of his life in 1975. Together they raised 4 boys in a strong foundation of biblical values and convictions. Among many things, he taught his children the importance of family and how to run the family business. Roger can be described as a kind, giving, honest and driven father who encouraged his children to pursue their goals.
Roger retired from Union Camp after working 23 ½ years and continued working his family business he began in 2001. He was a generous individual who loved to give to others and who was passionate about his family. He was an active and dedicated member of Calvary Church of God.
Roger is survived by his wife Susan Clark; children and their families, Roger Dale (Stephanie) Clark, Jeremy (Lisa) Clark, Chuck (Emily) Clark and Tyler Clark.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Dustin Clark; Lacy Clark; Mike, Zack and Dale Clark (Papa's Men); Callie Rose Clark (Papa's Rose) and much anticipated grandchildren. He is survived by 4 brothers; Charles, James, Mark, and Benjamin. Sisters; Gloria Galbreath; Martha Woods; and Hazel Clark.
He is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Juanita Clark; brothers, Marvin and Richard Clark.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
