BLITCHTON - Mr. Tommy Leon Rogers, 64, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Memorial Hospital. Mr. Rogers was born in Wichita, TX on March 2, 1954 to the late James Leon and Juanita Louise Todd Rogers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blitchton, enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Mr. Rogers was employed for over 30 years with Georgia Pacific as a paper machine operator.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Janice Kangeter Rogers; son, Dwayne Rogers and his wife Miranda of Brooklet; daughter, Becky Rogers of Blitchton; brother, Dean Rogers and his wife Cindy of Jesup; two sisters, Linda Rogers and Jodie Rogers both of Richmond Hill; brother-in-law, Steve Kangeter; sister-in-law, Vicki Kangeter; granddaughter, Leanna Brooke Rogers of Brooklet and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be private.
