Chester E. Graham
BUCYRUS: Chester E. Graham, 81, of rural Bucyrus passed away at 4:00 am Monday at home.
Chester was born February 25, 1932 in Bucyrus to the late Chester E. Graham Sr. and Clara (Klahn) Graham. He was married March 26, 1960 to Janet (Hart) Graham who survives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Chester Eugene; and infant daughter, Brenda Sue.
Chester is also survived by children, Sandy (Larry) Alspach, Galion, Douglas (Judi) Graham, Syracuse, NY, Mike (Lisa) Graham, Galion; nine grandchildren, Jason, Jodi, Austin, Matt, David, Laura, Jade, Nicholas, and Noah; two great grandchildren, Eisley and Layla; brother, Charles Graham Marquis of Arizona; sister, Katie (Leonard) Kocher, Bucyrus; half brother, Kenny Graham, W. Virginia; half sisters, Connie McFarland, of W. Virginia, Barbara (Dave) Hancock, and Marie (Wayne) Albright both of Bucyrus; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Chester retired in 1986 from Timken after 35 years. He lived his entire life in the community and attended Whetstone Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and enjoyed woodworking.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at Noon in the Whetstone Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Oxendine officiating, burial will follow in Whetstone Cemetery. Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Thursday and one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family suggest memorials be made to the Church Kitchen Fund or Home Care Matters Hospice.
