Ewing Miracle
BUCYRUS: Ewing Miracle, 79, of Bucyrus and formerly of Findlay passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2013 at his residence. Ewing was born on January 28, 1933 to Milburn and Cordia (Thompson) Miracle in Oaks, Kentucky.
Ewing was a U.S. Army Veteran who served his country during the Korean War. Ewing was the owner and operator of Miracle Appliance Repair in Findlay, and was a member of the Elk Horn Hunt Club in Bucyrus where he guided hunts for over 30 years. Ewing was a life member of the NRA and a past member of First Baptist Church in Findlay.
Ewing is survived by his wife of 57 years, Roberta (Houser) Miracle; his children, Jill (Nick) Norris, Wanda (Thomas Jones) Rader, Jeff (Sabra) Miracle, and Steve Miracle; grandchildren, Amanda, Eric, and Shaun Eller, Chad, Jimmy, and Tina Rader, Jason and Krysta Miracle, and Thomas and Jennifer Houser; great-grandchildren, Alysha, Ethan, Ayden, Hanna, Kayden, Avery, Keira, Jacob, and Gabe; and sister, Christine (James) Schifferly. Ewing was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Robert and Worden.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, from 1-3 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Chaplin Dan Clouse and Rev. Bill Schifferly officiating. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery with the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad performing full military honors.
