June L. "Yogi" Dyer

NEVADA: June L. "Yogi" Dyer, age 53, of Nevada, Ohio and formerly of Garrison, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile-train accident that occurred in Crawford County on April 14, 2012.

June was born on August 21, 1958 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Robert J. and Leora M. (Jordan) Dyer, both of whom are deceased. She was once married to Mitchell Ellis Lambert and then found her soul mate in Dana Foght, who passed away at the scene of the accident on Saturday.

Surviving are two sons, Matthew Jackson (Charity) Lambert of Benton, Ohio and Anthony C. (Deziree) Lambert of Knoxville, Tennessee; along with six grandchildren, Kyle Wayne Lambert, Leorah Michelle Lambert, Michael Livingston, Alexis Livingston, Anthony Blake Lambert and Arianna Paige Izabella Lambert; also surviving are sisters, Freda Eldridge, Brenda Dyer, Beverly (Ronald) Kincade and Jennifer Beck all of Nevada, Helen (John) Baehr and Sharon (Steve) Frisch, both of Bucyrus and Penny (Terry) Barney of Benton; along with two brothers, Roger (Beverly) Dyer of Lykens and James "Woody" (Darlene) Dyer of Bucyrus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Joseph and his wife, Cleo and Wendell; and two sisters, Opal Pinion and Linda Holter.

June had worked for IB-Tech in Bucyrus and before that had worked as a Nurse's Aide at Fairhaven Home in Upper Sandusky. She attended Wynford School and was a former member of the Bivens Church in Garrison.

For hobbies, June loved to cook, garden, clean her house and she enjoyed looking at family pictures and scrapbooking. She was passionate about her family, especially spending time with her "grandbabies".

Funeral services for June "Yogi" Dyer will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21st at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio with Rev. Carl Angel officiating. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Friday, April 20, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and 1 hour of visitation before service time at the Funeral Home on Saturday.
