Trevor WATT Obituary
August 3, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn G. S. Watt; loving father of Jonathan (June) Rev. Dr. and David (Diane) Watt; grandfather of Nathan (Mariah), Johanna (Juriaan) deBlok, Benjamin (Natalie), Zacharias (Katherine), and Justin (fiancée Kaylin) and Alexis Watt; great-grandfather of Briella, Olivia, Addison, Tobias and Isaac; loving brother of the late Ronald Watt; brother-in-law of Nola Watt; also survived by two nieces. A private family visitation was held. Friends are welcome to view a Live Stream Service, on Friday, August 7, 2020, at 11:30 AM, on Facebook, at The Dietrich Funeral Homes, Inc., page. I earned a 2nd Masters Degree from Canisius College, one in Religious Studies, in 1976. Several courses, as well as a 6-credit thesis, were under the direction of Dr. Watt. He was one of the most knowledgeable, inspiring, personable, and approachable professors I had in higher education. He was a enriching gift to my life and, in many ways, throughout my 36 year career in education.

His picture here captures his spirit wonderfully. He was a pleasure and a treasure to get to know. I met him at Canisius when I worked there and ended up taking several classes from him. What he taught me I still use in my life and his enthusiasm to share his knowledge enriched my life and I am sure hundreds of other. To you Dr. Watt, I life well lived, thanks for sharing it with us.

I first met Trevor when I was interviewing for My job. He was suckmh a Kind, Intelligent and Caring Man. He was a Hinest to Goodness Gentleman. He was always asking Philosophical Questions and I learned how to think outside the box.
