I am indeed saddened to learn of Cindy's passing. There was a time when she and Karl attended Cathedral Grammar School in Burlington and we were classmates. She'd bring gum to school, share it with me, and then we'd both get in trouble with our teachers, the Sisters of Mercy, who caught us chewing gum in class. The fine was 25 cents payable to the library fund! Then our paths crossed again when Krystin and I were involved in St. Michael's Playhouse.
I was so proud of her when I'd read of her philanthropy. What a great lady!

To Bob & Cindy's family: Learning today of Cindy's Passage opened again the many memories of working with them in Cursillo, Leap & Search Programs. Their faith witness at these programs were a solid, beautiful witness to the Love of Father God taught us by Lord Jesus. They shared their many graces with team and participants. I shall offer Mass tomorrow in her loving memory. May our God whose name is MERCY comfort you all. +

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Cindy's passing. Having just met her through a mutual friend this past year, I don't have any stories to share, but did want the family to know that I felt like I met a lion of a lady that day.
Opinionated, lively and intelligent - I hope it comforts those of you left behind that she is probably living as large a life in Heaven as she did here on Earth - only now with her beloved husband.
