REGINALD JOSEPH "REG" LETOURNEAU - HOLLAND, Vt. - Reginald Joseph "Reg" Letourneau, 87, of Holland, passed away on May 8, 2013, in Newport. He was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Holland, a son of Napoleon and Albertine (Ouimette) Letourneau. On May 28, 1949, he married Dolorese Roy, who survives him. Reginald owned and operated the family farm in Holland for many years. He enjoyed gardening, maple sugaring, family gatherings, dancing, listening to music and working in his sugarwoods. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, as he was a part of the Snow Drifters Club, and going with Dolorese to the Pick & Shovel on Sunday afternoons for ice cream. Most of all he enjoyed life, his family and his friends. He is survived by his wife, Dolorese Letourneau of Holland; children, Bertrand Letourneau and wife, Susie, of Holland, Yves Letourneau and life partner, Ruth, and Richard of Newport, and Cilla Letourneau and wife, Lauri, of Essex; grandchildren, Patrick Letourneau and wife, Sherry, of Vernal, Utah, Jennifer Martin and partner, Joe, of Holland, Bobbi-Jo Letourneau of Holland, and Shawn Littlefield of Essex; great-grandchildren, Storm Lamarche of Westfield, Raven Letourneau of Vernal, Utah, Charlotte, Annabelle and Chloe-emma (Pepe Poopoo), all of Holland; siblings, Paul Letourneau of Derby, Andre Letourneau and wife, Dolores, of East Charleston, Joseph Letourneau and wife, Delia, of Derby, Laurent Letourneau and wife, Alicia, of Derby, Philip Letourneau and wife, Barbara, of Derby, and Cecile Fortin of Holland; sisters-in-law, Denise Bowen (Ray) of Newport, and Simone Roy of Sherbrooke, Que.; brother-in-law, Sylvia Piette of Coventry; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Napoleon and Albertine Letourneau; grandsons, Mathew Letourneau and Ben Martin; brother, Peter Letourneau; sister, Theresa Fortin and husband, Albert; sister, Simone Piette; brother, Tony Letourneau; brother, Leon Letourneau and wife, Solange; brother-in-law, Henry Fortin; sister-inlaw, Rena Letourneau; mother- and father-in-law, Dominique and Armosa Roy; sister-in-law, Fernande and Laurent Brault; and brother-in-law, Armand Roy. Friends may call on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Curtis-Britch- Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 37 Lake Road, Newport, (formerly, 5 Bay Street). Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013, at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Derby Line, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Edward's Cemetery, Derby Line.
