Constance Ann Goodrich passed peacefully to the Lord on Monday December 21, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Connie was born in Panton, Vermont to the late Richard and Mildred Sheldon.
Connie was a woman of profound faith with a life long dedication to serving God by helping those in need. She cared for her family and her community alike.
Connie had a heart of gold offering unconditional love to all. She was an advocate for many who could not advocate for themselves.
Connie was very active in social action at St Peter's Parish. Projects that were especially near and dear to her heart included organizing the rummage sale and the tea social for the elderly, visiting the home bound, and Christmas caroling at the local nursing homes.
Connie loved to travel. She took such delight in seeing new places and meeting new faces. She was always looking forward to her next adventure.
Connie brought Light and Love to the world and will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters Laurra and Catherine Sheldon; her loving husband, Roland Peter Goodrich; her siblings Gary and Mary Sheldon of Tennessee, Keith and Ann Craig, John and Cathy Sheldon; Noreen Sheldon, Harold and Diane Sheldon; her brother-and sister-in-law Jim and Kathy Goodrich; her step children Tina and John Royer, Tammy Parrott, Doug and Alisa Goodrich, Christine and Brent Farnham, Byron and Laura Goodrich; many nieces and nephews- who were like her own children to her; grand children; great grand children; and so many very dear friends.
Connie was predeceased by her sisters Patricia Smith, Gail Sheldon, and Diana Parks.
A private Catholic funeral was held for immediate family only on Monday 12/28/2020. A celebration of Connie's life will take place on Saturday 7/31/2021 from 11:00-3:00 at St Peter's Parish Hall in Vergennes.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to:
St Peter's Parish Social Action fund, The Ladies of St Anne's, or Addison County Home Health and Hospice.
