Obituary Condolences

DORIS L. ALBERTS - ESSEX JUNCTION - Doris L. Alberts, 74, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014. She was born in Charlotte on May 19, 1940, the daughter of the late Gerard and Therese Brault. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1958. She was married to Charles B. Alberts Jr. in August 1958. Doris worked at Champlain Elementary School for 35 years in the food service. This job brought her many happy times. She also enjoyed shopping, especially with her daughter, Julie. She is survived by her husband, Charles Alberts Jr. of Essex Junction; their children, Todd Alberts and wife, Lyn, CB Alberts and wife, Sherry, and Julie Thibault and husband, Jason; the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Maria Morgan, Tianna Alberts, Lorie Williams, Chas Alberts, Ashley Alberts, Jake Thibault, and Josie Thibault; great-grandchildren, Raeveon, LaRissa, Anna, and Kelly; siblings, Marcel (Nancy) Brault, Cecile Savage, Rachel (Ken) O'Brien, and Mike (Linda) Brault; inlaws, Larry Fontaine, Judy Mills, Terri Varin, Gary (Patty) Alberts, and Shirley Hawley; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her dear friend, Gert Laramee. Doris was most recently predeceased by her sister, Rita Fontaine. The family would like to thank Essex Rescue and the University of Vermont Medical Center ICU staff. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr., Essex Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 76 Main St., Colchester, with burial to follow in Ft. Ethan Allen Cemetery.
