He was born July 16, 1952 in Bronx, NY. He settled in South Burlington in 1979. He is survived by his wife Ellen, brother Robert, sister Helen, and 4 children: Jon, Paul, Marc, and Mary. He has 8 grandchildren and one he has raised as a guardian and father figure.

For almost 40 years he worked in VT public schools as an administrator, 10 of which at Job Corps. He coached youth sports, ran SB little league, and loved cheering for his NY teams. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

I am so sorry to hear about this so late! I was one of Mr. Frail's students at Black River. He was SUCH a fun principal. We made him an honorary class adviser and he came on our senior class trip. He was always willing to listen to anything we had to say and was more than willing to joke around and have fun. I am so sorry for your loss, but please know he left a lasting impression on so many of us!
