LINCY NAUKA SULLIVAN - PANTON - All of the friends and family in the United States, Papua New Guinea, and Vanuatu, mourn the loss of their dear friend and loved one, Lincy Nauka Sullivan, 34, who died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, in Porter Medical Center. Lincy's vibrant life began Nov. 3, 1979, in Mount Hagen, Papua New Guinea, to her birth parents, George Minava and Mary George. Lincy was a hair stylist and owner of Alexandra Hair Salon in Middlebury. Lincy's passions ranged from her exceptional art, photography, and hairdressing skills to her marvelous focus upon her love of her children and stepchildren, Alexandra, Ava, Gavin and Kassidy, as well as her large family of friends. She married the love her life, Mike Quinlan, on Aug. 31, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Mike Quinlan of Panton; her parents, Bill Sullivan of Starksboro, and Marilyn Barbato of Hollywood, Fla.; daughters, Alexandra Dorce and Ava Quinlan, both of Panton; stepchildren, Gavin Quinlan and Kassidy Quinlan, both of Panton; sister, Anne Sullivan of Middlebury, and her partner, John Lincoln; and other relatives in Papua New Guinea. The members of her family and friends wish to invite everyone to a celebration of her life and accomplishments at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main St., Middlebury, on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Middlebury. The Rev. Susan McGarry will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, www.sandersonfuneralservice.com.
