Age: 60 • Essex

Nancy Murphy Lefebvre, 60, of Essex Junction, died on Friday, September 29, 2017, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Concord, NH on August 31, 1957 the daughter of Robert Murphy, Sr. and Patricia (Horton) Rouille.

On August 23, 1980 she married her best friend Tim Lefebvre.

What gave Nancy the greatest joy was being a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She enjoyed nurturing her family and friends with her love of cooking. She found comfort and serenity in the outdoors, most notably taking long walks, gardening and spending time on the beaches of Maine. She also dedicated 40 years of her life to the community, serving as a Registered Nurse. She will forever be remembered by her infectious laugh, her beautiful smile, and her enormous heart.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Tim Lefebvre; her daughter Amy Zarwell & her husband Eric of Milwaukee, WI; her son Ryan Lefebvre & his wife Rachael of Huntersville, NC; her two granddaughters Regan & Everly Lefebvre; her mother Patricia Rouille & her husband Leo; her siblings Robert Murphy & his wife Sally Gottlieb, Shawn Murphy & his partner Cecile Pratte, Kristine Magnant & her husband Phil, David Perkins; her father-in-law Nelson Lefebvre; in-laws Mitch & Deborah Lefebvre, Rick & Mary Lefebvre, Brian & Donna Lefebvre, Debra & Tom Bodell, Albert & Sharon Lefebvre, Paul Lefebvre; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Murphy Sr., her dad Clifton Perkins, her mother-in-law Beverley Lefebvre and brother-in-law Bobby Lefebvre.

Nancy's family will forever be grateful to the staff at both the University of Vermont Medical Center and the McClure Miller VNA Respite House for their care and compassion, and would like to extend a sincere thank you.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 3, from 4pm to 7pm at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr. Essex Junction. A memorial service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to the , 237 East Ave. Burlington, VT 05401 or the University of Vermont Cancer Center, The Courtyard at Given 4th Floor North, 89 Beaumont Ave. Burlington, VT 05405.
